HelloHealth’s app aims to empower patients and enable them to take charge of their health records and outcomes.
The healthcare system should be like a triangle with three equal sides: payers, providers, and patients. Instead, it is like an isosceles triangle—two large angles (payers and providers) with a small base angle as its patients. Patients, albeit the health system’s driver have no say and often have limited jurisdiction over their health data, interactions with providers, and ultimately, their health outcomes.
The HelloHealth app addresses the lack of portability and visibility of health records. Currently, when patients move between healthcare facilities, their records may not be properly transferred, and they may not clearly understand what information is recorded or shared.
The HelloHealth app aims to reduce de-centralize patients’ health records and put them in the hands of patients where they should rightfully belong. Patients would then authorize access to their information and securely share it with doctors, hospitals, or other individuals.
In addition to connecting patients with their healthcare records, the HelloHealth app offers many practical features to improve the patient experience and facilitate informed decision-making. Patients can receive appointment notifications, access doctor profiles, manage billing and payments, communicate with doctors, and they can forget about filling out forms with our convenient virtual check-in.
Coming soon, we aim to provide patients with cost information for medications and lab tests. By offering these functionalities, we ensure consistent value for users and enable them to make informed decisions about their healthcare.
